Thanksgiving Activities

Well I guess I have been updating my Facebook page more than my blog page. For Thanksgiving we went down to my sisters house in Santaquin. The people that were there included us, Melissa's family, Mom and Dad, Jenny, Marc Urban, Dallas and Emalee and Matt's mom Judy.

Angelee spent two days making Rolls, Pies and dips for the dinner and snacking before and after. While we were there we got the girls dressed up and took some pictures in front of the Christmas Tree. We also watched two football games and visited with everyone.

Angelee and I got up at 6:00 am Friday morning to go shopping, we ended up going to a few stores and spending more than we planned on spending.

Halloween Activities.

Ok, for Halloween we all had a lot of fun, Angelee dressed up as Pippy Long Stocking, Trina was a Vampire and Amanda was an Egyptian Woman. And of course I did not take any pictures so you are going to have to imagine how everyone looked. We had a ward party on Halloween, they had a Chili Cook off and Pie contest. Angelee submitted a few pies but no prizes were won. Katrina carved a pumpkin for the contest but she was also a judge so she could not win. Angelee spent hours doing crafts with home made bats, sucker ghosts and spiders to decorate are van for Trunk or Treating. If there was a prize for best Trunk she would have won but they did not judge the trunks. This last week I joined Facebook so if you want to look me up and become my friend I would enjoy it.

This last weekend I had a Dr. Appointment up at the Moran Eye Center. They sent me to a Neurologist to see if she can figure out why my double vision will not go away even with the three surgeries I have had. By the way she is still not sure but when I find something out I will let you all know. We decided to make a mini-vacation out of it. We went to the Gateway mall and to see Beverly Hills Chiwawa (Spelling) We also spent some time visiting Benji, Melissa and the Boys but of course I forgot to take pictures with them.

Katrinas Gymnastics

Katrina took Gymnastics this summer and it ended a week or two ago but because I have been having camera issues I could not post the pictures. So here they are. She Took it With her best friend Anna.

Brief Update

I have not forgotten about my blog, I have just been having Camera issues, I will try and work on it tonight and get some pictures. The last few weeks have been fun though, Yesterday was Angelee's 39th Birthday, we gave her Breakfast in bed, I got her an Electric blanket and a BYU Cougars shirt, the girls made her some nice Birthday cards. We stayed home on Conference Saturday and went through boxes that we packed up when we were planning on moving. We enjoyed watching conference. Oh yeah we gave up on moving with our medical bills and the bad economy. Someday we will be able to get into our own home with a Yard and Fence, but it will have to wait for now.

Amanda's Job Shadow Day

Yesterday Amanda came to work with me for the 7th grade job shadow day. She did a great job, she sat at a table for about 5 hours and put new tips in about 500 pens. She then helped me in the lab washing dishes, which is not the funnest job but she also got to fill up gloves with water. She then went outside with a magnify glass and tried to catch weeds on fire. Just a small pile in the parking lot, so no fires would have been started. It was fun having her with me for the day so she understands a bit more what I do.

Katrina wanted to have an 11th Birthday party at Lazer Assault in Provo, they have Mini Golf, Lazer Tag and Pizza. Here are a few pictures from the party.

This Weeks News?

Not much has happened in our home this week, I got sick on Wednesday and did not go to work on Thursday but forced myself to work on Friday. Amanda got her Flute for school this week, we got it at Bert Murdock Music, it is going to be $28.00 a month to rent so she better play it and like it. Katrina had a good week with no real side effects from her stitches she is use to them now and can pretty much do anything with her hands. Yesterday Chauncey's family and Benson came over to watch the BYU game, it was fun to spend some time with them. Chauncey leaves on Thursday to Chicago to start Law School, his wife is finishing up BYU Law school so she is staying in provo for a few months but will travel back to Chicago once a month or so for visits. We really enjoyed BYU beating UCLA so bad 59-0 was a great score. Angelee and I went and saw the movie MamaMia last night it was a good movie, I have always enjoyed musicals.

Katrina get stitches

Katrina has had this huge Wart on the palm of her hand and she has tried everything to get rid of it. Finally she agreed to let the Doctor cut it out, she was a bit scared but she got through it and now she will have a small scar on her hand but in the mean time she has stitches in her hand.
